Apple Music Makes Plans for the Hayden Tract

Apple Music announced on June 30, 2025,  the planned opening of a new studio in Culver City; three stories with a 4,000-square-foot soundstage for live performances and events, in the Hayden Tract. Apple Music’s Rachel Newman offered “With this new studio, we are furthering our commitment to creating a space for artists to create, connect, and share their vision,” as a part of the announcement. 

According to the Los Angeles Times, Eric Owen Moss, known for his distinctive and sculptural structures throughout Los Angeles, designed the building that houses the new studio.

The 15,000 square foot facility will include two radio studios, a spatial audio mixing room, booths for songwriting and podcasting, and rooms to help artists create content, Apple announced on social media. 

No date has been set for the Apple Music Studio to open. 

Apple is in process building a new office complex on the border of Culver City and Los Angeles, contiguous with their offices on National and Washington. That facility is expected to house the offices for the streaming service Apple TV+.
