CCUSD Closes Schools – “Grab & Go” Meals Available at CCHS

Out of an abundance of caution due to significantly declining air quality overnight, the Culver City Unified School District is declaring an emergency non-instructional day for all students on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Overnight, the air quality in our area significantly declined to a “hazardous” level this morning making it unsafe for staff and students to attend school. For these reasons all CCUSD schools and offices will be closed today.

There are “Grab & Go” meals available at Culver City High School for all CCUSD students from noon until 1 pm today.  The meals will be distributed from the gate behind the electronic sign on Elenda Boulevard. Please provide the names of the students you are pick up for, and the schools they attend. If possible, student ID is appreciated.

Accordingly, instruction, child care services, and all other district-wide activities are cancelled for all students with the intent of returning on Friday, January 10, 2025.
