Both L.A. County Supervisor Holly J Mitchell and Assemblymember Isaac Bryan have endorsed Bubba Fish for the Culver City Council election.
Supervisor Mitchell has been a tireless champion for affordable housing, safe streets, and care-based public safety for her entire career. She led our County through the pandemic, secured permanent housing for unhoused families, created Metro’s Ambassador program, and began a guaranteed income program to lift families out of poverty. The Supervisor’s dedication to improving the lives of working families and fostering inclusive communities is an inspiration to me and countless others.
From the candidate “I’ve worked closely with Assemblymember Bryan on multiple bills during my time at Streets for All to reduce interactions with law enforcement for people using transit and bicycles. I was able to see the way he combines his community organizing background with collaborative governing to get real work done on behalf of our district. Our Assemblymember’s track record of fighting for renters, our environment, and justice for all inspires me, and I’m excited to have his support for our campaign.”
On top of endorsement from the LA County Democratic Party, Fish noted that he was “…beyond honored to get this support from two of the elected officials who work most closely with the Culver City Council and represent our community at the County and State levels.”
