Nancy Barba has picked up six new endorsing organizations in her promising run for Culver City Council.
California Democratic Renters Council, SEIU-UHW United Healthcare Workers West, Abundant
Housing LA, Streets for All, Pilipino American Los Angeles Democrats, and Working Families
Party joined Stonewall Democratic Club, Housing Action Coalition, Westside Young Democrats,
Sierra Club, and Culver City Democratic Club in backing Barba, a climate leader, housing
advocate, and equity champion with an extensive record of public service.
Additionally, Nancy Barba earned a prestigious Distinction as a 2024 Moms Demand Action
Gun Sense Candidate.
“I am humbled to receive the support of so many respected organizations,” said Barba. “But I
also recognize that it’s my responsibility, if elected, to earn those endorsements every single
day by working tirelessly on behalf of the people of Culver City.
“We have the most dynamic, creative, and visionary small city in Southern California,” Barba
continued. “With policies that drive climate change mitigation, climate adaptation, equity, justice,
inclusion, and anti-racism, Culver City will fulfill its promise as a place that isn’t afraid to enact
future-focused solutions that help everyone thrive who works, plays, and lives here.”
