To support the City’s stormwater reporting, staff will be measuring the trash captured by street sweeping and catch basin inserts. They will survey 12 catch basins on streets including Sepulveda Boulevard, Hayden Avenue, and others.
By August 5, 2024, city staff will cover these catch basins with fabric to conduct the trash capture survey. The fabrics will be removed in mid-September 2024 after the survey is completed.
