West Coast Funk & Soul – A Celebration of Street Dance

A story of west coast street and club dance, music, and culture narrated by a young girl growing up in Los Angeles. Featuring No Easy Props Dancers: Jeff “Rapid” Ogle, Stephen “Lobo” Velazquez, Bgirl Sel Almeida, Tierra Strike, Jules McKelvey, Jayd “Ilijahbeats” Cisneros, Sophia Roybal, and Ethan ‘E’ Evaro. Special Guests include Mone “Medusa” Smith, Robot Prince, Damita Jo Freeman, and Tony GoGo.

The West Coast Funk & Soul Series is documenting and preserving the history of street dance, and presenting live events that spotlight and showcase the style and flavor of the west coast.

No Easy Props is a 501c nonprofit Hip-Hop arts organization that offers Hip-Hop cultural immersive experiences, education, and training for proactive youth development, BIPOC equity and community wellbeing.
