Walk’n Rollers Celebrate 12 Years with Festival and Fundraiser – March 16 on Main Street

Come and celebrate 12 years of bike safety, walk-to-school groups and free helmets with Culver City’s own Walk n’ Rollers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on  Main Street. The annual fundraiser celebrates safety, mobility and the community spirit  the Walk and Rollers has fostered for more than a decade. It will be a family-fun filled day with bike skills, free bike helmets, bike registration, arts and books, a group ride and so much more!

Found Jim Shanman noted “Last year we raised over $10,000. This year, we are aiming to raise $20,000 to support for our Adopt-a-Bike program, plus we are auctioning off a Prevelo Alpha Five Bike, a bike rack from Hollywood Racks, bike gear, and gift cards.

“There will also be a space to buy and sell new and used bikes and bike gear at great prices. Donate it and sell it on consignment! If your bike is unused, in ridable shape but needs a new home, bring it with you and Walk and Rollers sell it for you on consignment.”

If you are new to biking, it’s the ideal place to get started. Not a cyclist? Stroll over and join in the fun.
