Culver City Mental Wellness Resource Fair Will See Mobile Crisis Unit Debut

The City of Culver City invites you to join us at our Mental Wellness Resource Fair on Tuesday, February 27th. We will also introduce the Culver City Mobile Crisis Team (MCT). This team is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and effective response to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

“For far too long leaders have ignored the growing mental health crisis in our communities,” said Mayor Yasmine-Imani McMorrin. “I’m proud that Culver City has joined neighboring cities in investing in finding common sense solutions to tackling this growing epidemic. Our Mobile Crisis Team pilot program shows our commitment to meeting the needs of our neighbors, as we continue to build a healthier Culver City.”

In addition to the exciting launch, our partnering mental and behavioral health providers will be present with informative booths, offering resources and insights to enhance our community’s mental health and well-being. Activities will include yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and art.

Taking place on  Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 from 11-3 p.m. in the City Hall Courtyard, 9770 Culver Boulevard, Culver City

Let’s come together to celebrate a community that values mental health and provides support when it’s needed most. Your presence at this event is a step towards building a healthier, happier Culver City.
