RAIN or SHINE! Countdown to a dazzling New Year’s Eve at the Marina del Rey Fireworks and Glow Party at Burton Chace Park!
To ensure your experience is as convenient and enjoyable as possible, please note the following:
In celebration of the new year, the Department of Beaches and Harbors will host two10-minute fireworks shows on Sunday, December 31, 2023: at 9:00 p.m., and then again at 12:00 a.m.
The shows will be shot from the Marina’s south jetty and can be viewed from nearly anywhere in Marina del Rey, Venice and Dockweiler beaches, and surrounding areas.
PARKING LOTS & RATES:

- Parking will be available in 11 public parking lots throughout the Marina. Starting at 4:00 p.m., these lots will implement special event rates ($8 – $20) per vehicle.
GLOW PARTY: Featuring DJ, Live Entertainment, Face Painting, Photo Booth, Food Trucks and More!
STREET CLOSURES:California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be in Marina del Rey to help prevent gridlock and keep traffic flowing throughout the evening by enforcing the following closures:
- 7:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.:– Mindanao Way (west of Admiralty Way) closed to westbound traffic, including no left turns from Admiralty (northbound)
- 8:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.:– No left turn from Fiji Way (eastbound) onto Admiralty Way (northbound)
In addition, the Waterside Shopping Center driveway on Mindanao Way, near Ralphs, will be temporarily closed at 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. for up to one hour to alleviate vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area. All other driveways at the shopping center will not be impacted.
NOTE: The times and locations of street closures are subject to change at any time due to traffic conditions.
