Sponsored by the Culver City Unified School District Council PTA (CCCPTA), the Backpacks for Kids Program provides nutritious, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food each week to children so they don’t have to deal with food insecurity on the weekends.
Please come support the Backpacks For Kids Winter food drive this weekend, Dec. 2 & 3, 2023, by either volunteering or stopping by with a donation! We’ll be outside Pavillions on Jefferson both Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Since 2013, children from nine CCUSD school sites – preschool through high school- are enrolled in the Backpacks for Kids Program. Number identifiers are used within the program to preserve anonymity. Supported by the Culver City Council PTA, the Backpacks for Kids Program is run entirely by volunteers and receives no funding from the school district, state, or federal sources.
