Congratulations to the El Rincon Elementary PTA for earning two more prestigious awards – a 2022-2024 National PTA School of Excellence and a California PTA Spotlight Award for Earth Fest.
El Rincon won a California PTA Spotlight Award for Environmental Awareness for Earth Fest, an annual celebration held on the El Rincon campus that celebrates a fun way for CCUSD students and families to learn about environmental awareness and practices. As a National PTA School of Excellence, El Rincon joins a select group of PTAs nationwide recognized for their accomplishments in building a strong, effective family-school partnership that is enriching the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.
Some highlights of last year include the school’s multicultural programming, the purchasing of a book vending machine, creating a unique autism acceptance month program, a MakerFaire/STEAM family night, and its dedication to the students. These awards follow El Rincon PTA’s 2022 Jan Harp Domene Diversity and Inclusion National PTA Award. All of this was made possible by the fantastic parents, teachers, staff, and guardians who support the Rocket scholars.
