The City of Culver City’s Equity and Human Relations Advisory Committee will be hosting a screening of “Paper Tigers” to be followed by a community conversation. Panelists will include CCUSD Superintendent Quoc Tran, trauma expert Rebecca Morgan, School Board member Summer McBride, and EHRAC Student member Raven Bradley.
The documentary shows how the principal of a high school changes his policy approach to help students deal with trauma. The film has been called “a testament to what the latest developmental science is proving: that one caring adult can help break the cycle of adversity in a young person’s life.”
