Culver City High School’s CTE/AVPA Dance Department, in partnership with Invertigo Dance Theatre, invites the Culver City community to The Kitchen Table Project. An evening of dance, conversation, and community celebration. We welcome you to our kitchen table, a place of lineage, a place for loved ones to gather, and a place where stories are shared.
This project was created as a response to the initial shutdown of the pandemic and has grown into an exploration with each of you who come to the table. In this evening of conversation and dance, the audience will be asked to engage in contemplation and active reflection as we hear from our communities of youth, elders, food justice workers and Culver City residents. We will gather to toast and celebrate the resilience of the Culver City community!
*Please plan to arrive EARLY in order to park, go through COVID check, and Box Office. For detailed information go to www.avpa.org.
