Over the course of two evenings, we tell the story of THE QUEST, a Heidi Duckler Dance project that took place this October with 10 premieres over 10 days at 10 different locations! This project celebrates the company’s 35 years of programming in communities throughout Los Angeles, highlighting our enduring dedication to inclusion and justice in dance, arts education, and our community.
During THE RE-QUEST we will premiere captivating footage from all 10 of these days and take you on a virtual journey from Baldwin Hills to Montecito Heights, and from Studio City to Watt, with stops at historical sites like the Founder’s Church of Religious Science and the Heritage Square Museum.
Author and magazine editor Nancy Griffin will moderate a talk-back with the innovative creatives who collaborated on THE QUEST. Through short interviews and films, this experience will explore themes of health, education, architecture, sites of memory, community, the environment, and our democracy.
