The AVPA Pink Elephant Music Company presents our Annual Fall Concert – in virtual format! The concert broadcast will premiere on Friday, October 30 at 7pm. The online link will be advertised closer to the performance.
The Fall Concert features all the music ensembles that are meeting in classes and rehearsals via Zoom. The AVPA Orchestra, Jazz Combos, and Chamber Singers will be joined by the CCHS Orchestra and Concert Band.
Students will help create a Halloween atmosphere for the concert by sharing fun (and short) ghost stories and more while in costume.
Music featured on the concert includes the third movement of Vivaldi’s “Autumn” from the Four Seasons and Recuerdos de la Alhambra for string orchestra, “Belle” from Cajun Folk Songs by Frank Ticheli for “flex” concert band, and jazz standards such as “Take Five,” “Lady Bird,” and “Along Came Betty.”
