CERT Volunteers Will Be in Neighborhoods to Facilitate Help

The City’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) has been activated to assist people age 65 and older and those with underlying medical conditions. You may see CERT members in teams of two or more, wearing green vests and name tags, walking in your neighborhood 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. They are following strict social distancing guidelines and are offering assistance to people who need help getting groceries and medication, or people who have any other need due to self-isolation.

If you do not have family, friends or neighbors that can assist you with groceries and/or medications, please call the City’s Coronavirus Hotline at 310-253-6890 and request CERT Assistance.
