‘Chicago’ to Open March 5 at the Robert Frost

The most amazing city, the most incredible time, the most unbelievable women – It’s Chicago! Coming to the Robert Frost Auditorium for only two weekends, Culver City High School’s Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (AVPA) will be rocking Bob Fosse’s most notorious musical. Opening March 5, with a special VIP reception on March 6, we’ve got the dancers of the Cell Block Tango, the transparent Mr. Cellophane, and the notorious Vilma and Roxie.
AVPA has been credited for years with doing professional level theatre, and this is a show you won’t want to miss. Directed by Lee Margaret Hanson, Choreography by Carol Zee, and Music performed by the AVPA Orchestra led by Dr. Tony Spano. With J.D. Sargent and Howard Behnken’s Technical Theater students building sets and designing lighting, this is a performance that showcases the multi-disciplinary creativity of the whole Academy. We will take you back to the Roaring 20’s in full throated roar! Get tickets online or at the Robert Frost box office before performances.
