How to Have an “Age Friendly” City

The discussion on Culver City’s goals to be ‘age friendly’ will continue tonight, Feb. 4, at 7 pm at – where else? The Culver City Senior Center, 9770 Culver Boulevard, 90230. At its January 7, 2020 meeting, the PRCS Commission identified the following topics of interest related to the Age-Friendly Survey results:

Increasing the number of shaded areas in the parks;
Providing clean, accessible restrooms throughout the City of Culver City;
Getting a PRCS Department facility and/or a programming needs assessment done; and
Increasing communication about the services that the PRCS Department offers, including implementing a program to reach out to homebound individuals

On February 4th, the Commission will further discuss potential action items to address the findings of the Culver City Age-Friendly Survey. The public is invited to attend and participate!
