
Nothing makes it feel more like the holidays than music, and the Academy of Visual and Performing will be ringing in the season on Friday, December 13, 7pm, at Robert Frost Auditorium with the Winter Music Concert
The evening will feature ensembles from the CCHS Concert Band and String Orchestra, the AVPA Orchestra, Chamber Singers, Jazz Ensemble, and Jazz Combos
Music will include You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch (Jazz Ensemble), A Charlie Brown Christmas (Jazz Ensemble), Carol of the Bells (Chamber Singers), Sleigh Ride (Concert Band), and Christmas Bells are Ringing (Concert Band)
The Orchestra will present Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E Minor with Oliver Marcus on violin, selections from “Spirited Away” by Joe Hisaishi, and just so you have no doubt it’s holiday time, selections from The Nutcracker (String Orchestra).
