The first concert of the Doctors Symphony 2019-20 heralds the 67th consecutive season and celebrates the 30th anniversary of Maestro Ivan Shulman’s tenure as Music Director. Under his guidance, the orchestra has grown in quality and expertise and become a venerated institution in the Westside musical community.
The program will include ANTONÍN DVOŘÁK: IN NATURE’S REALM Op. 9, B. 168; TOMASO ALBINONI: CONCERTO FOR TWO OBOES AND ORCHESTRA IN F-MAJOR Op. 9, No. 3; (featuring oboists Bennett Lopez and Bom An) and ROBERT SCHUMANN: SYMPHONY NO. 1 IN B-FLAT MAJOR OP. 38 (SPRING).
