Tito’s and Tito’s Fiesta Mexicana Brings Bueno Benefits to Culver Arts Foundation

While many people were pleased to be a part of the October 4 fundraiser that celebrated both National Taco Day and National Vodka Day, it was the very local Culver Arts Foundation that got the most satisfaction. All the fun at the Fiesta Mexciana hosted at Tito’s Tacos with Tito’s Handmade Vodka raised some serious money.

Three of the Culver Arts board members – Scott Malsin, Jim Clarke and Sehnita Joshua Matteson – were all present on October 23, 2019 at Tito’s Tacos to receive the official total on the donations, and pose with a check.

While the powerful October sunshine poured down, a shady spot on the side of the restaurant was the place to be. The generous check for $22,572.14 was hoisted by Brian Herlihy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Lynn Davidson and Wirt Morton of Tito’s Tacos joined the jubilation, and everyone got to smile and say “Fiesta!”

For more on the Culver Arts Foundation, Culver City Crossroads October print edition features the foundation in the magazine “Art from the Heart.” You can find it at City Hall, the Culver City Library, the Senior Center, and locations throughout the city.
