“Thanks to the generous donations our students will have more opportunities to engage in creative and collaborative problem solving around real-world problems,” said Carla Madrid, Teaching and Learning Coordinator at CCUSD.
The Culver City Education Foundation offered effusive thanks to the Culver City Rotary Community Foundation for its generous donation to CCEF, to continue providing the necessary tools for MakerSpaces. With the hands-on, experiential learning program at multiple elementary schools, tools are an essential part of creating; having the right tools for smaller hands can make those hands feel comfortable enough to master a skill.
CCEF Executive Director, Melanie Mack added, “We are so thankful for exceptional service organizations like the Culver City Rotary and its Rotarians who make our initiatives and programs, as well as others, their priority.”
