The Chumash are the Native American people who historically inhabited the central and southern coastal regions of California from Morro Bay in the north to Malibu in the south. For thousands of years, the Chumash used a variety of native plants as medicines. These plants still grow in our local mountains and continue to provide a source of healing power.
