Culver City is celebrating “Disability Awareness Month” with our annual free festival of fun! Carnival Games & Prizes! Food & Drinks! Petting Zoo! Live Entertainment! Crafts! Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. @ the Culver City Senior Center, 4095 Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA.
The event is completely free of charge for youth, families and adults. RSVP is required so that event planners may assure that adequate quantities of food, prizes and craft supplies are available. Participants must call (310) 253-6717 to confirm attendance.
As usual the Giddy Up Ranch petting zoo will be available—along with 15 carnival game booths, a karaoke stage, photo booth, community resource tables, a quiet activity room, an arts and crafts area and an interactive area featuring therapy dogs. All activities have been specially designed to be accessible to children and people of all abilities. Free hot dogs, burgers, pizza, cotton candy and popcorn will also be served.
