If you were to walk around downtown Culver City at the turn of the new millennium, you would have found a dilapidated and run-down Mexican restaurant and a chain Italian joint down the block with tumbleweeds blowing down the sidewalk. A mere dozen years later, Culver City has become a mecca for patrons of the arts and foodies who know their way around a good IPA beer and a nicely presented foie gras.
