Crime Blotter – Vandalism Observed

Crime Blotter for August 27th through September 3, 2012.
Street Robbery:
On August 27, 2012 at 9:15 pm, officers responded to the area of Adams Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was riding his bicycle and had just stopped for a red light and saw two suspects also waiting at the light. Suspect 1 said that was his bike and that he stole it and raised his fists, suspect 2 then grabbed the bike and both fled the location.
Assault:
On August 28, 2012 at 12:55 am, officers responded to the 3800 block of Del Mas Terrace regarding a battery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was at the hospital when his approached by the suspect. The suspect immediately grabbed the victim and threw him to the ground. The suspect then fled the location.
Vandalism:
On August 28, 2012 at 9:30 am, a victim called the police department to report vandalism in the 5600 block of Windsor Way. The victim said he observed the vandalism in the pedestrian entry way of the complex. The vandalism occurred between August 27th at 8:30 pm till he discovered it on August 28th at 9:15 am.
Commercial Burglary:
On august 28, 2012 at 10:00 pm, a victim called the police department to report his storage unit in the 11800 block of Washington Boulevard had been burglarized. The victim said he had locked and secured the unit in May 15, 2012 and returned on August 22, 2012 and discovered his property missing.
Residential Burglary:
On August 29, 2012 at 12:58 pm, officers responded to the 5300 block of La Ballona Lane regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them following; she locked and secured his residence at 8:40 am shortly thereafter she received a call from her alarm company stating her alarm been activated. The victim returned to her residence and met the officers. The officers conducted a search of the location and discovered property missing.
Stolen Car:
On August 31, 2012 at 10:25 pm, officers responded to the 600- block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he parked and locked his 1996 Honda at 4:00 pm and when he returned at 10:00 pm discovered his vehicle missing.
