Car Burglary:
On April 24, 2012 at 5:40 pm, officers responded to the 4100 block of Higuera Avenue regarding a car burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them following; he parked and locked his 2011 Subaru on April 23, 2012 at 9:45 pm. He returned the next day at 8:00 am, and discovered his property missing from his vehicle.
Residential Burglary:
On April 26, 2012 at 1:25 pm, officers responded to the 4100 block of LaSalle Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she locked and secured her residence when she left at 10:00 am. When she returned at 1:20 pm she discovered her home was ransacked and her property missing.
Street Robbery:
On April 28, 2012 at 5:10 pm officers responded to the 4900 block of Centinela Avenue regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he had ridden his bicycle to the Jefferson Boulevard and Hetzler Road to exercise. He secured his bike and went to exercise and when he returned he noticed a group of people had gathered around his bicycle. As he got closer he saw one subject had his seat and rack and was fleeing the location. The victim followed the suspect and was able to catch him and confront him about his property. The suspect pushed him to the ground and fled the location.
Stolen Car:
On April 30, 2012 at 8:20 am, officers responded to the 6200 block of Bristol Parkway regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he parked and locked his 2000 Honda on April 29th at 6:00 pm and when he returned the next morning at 8:00 am his car was missing.
Vandalism:
On April 30, 2012 at 8:30 am, a victim came to the police department to report that a construction site located in the 9800 block of Washington Boulevard had been vandalized. The victim said his crew locked and secured the location on April 28th at 5:00 pm and when he returned this morning at 8:00 am discovered that unknown suspect(s) had damaged 200 feet of new walls at the location.
