In a move well-timed for college grads and all job-seekers – especially those wanting to avoid a commute that is anywhere near the new construction on Sunset Blvd. – WebVisible (www.WebVisible.com) announced that it is continuing its fast-growth hiring streak and is looking to fill at least 75 new positions immediately.
On the heels of a successful Open House held at the company’s Irvine headquarters last month, WebVisible will continue its open-door approach by hosting an Open House & Job Fair in Los Angeles County for the new positions. The event will take place at the new office in Playa Vista, at 5510 Lincoln Blvd., in the Electronic Arts building.
For the region’s job-seekers, the timing could hardly be better: unemployment in the city of Los Angeles currently stands at 13.5 percent, while Los Angeles County’s jobless rate is now 12.3 percent.
WebVisible has multiple career opportunities in Playa Vista and Irvine, including:
• Sales: Inside Sales Account Representatives, Account Executives, Senior Account Executives, and Sales Managers. (50+ positions)
• Information Technology: Data Analysts, Release Engineers, and Windows Engineers.
• Software Engineering: Senior Software Engineers and Web Developers.
• Product Design: Senior Visual Designers, User Experience Designers, and Product Managers.
Interested parties can email a résumé to [email protected] or apply online at http://www.webvisible.com/about-us/career/. Qualified applicants will be contacted for a preliminary phone interview, and those who pass the initial screening will be invited to the WebVisible Sales and Information Technology Job Fair on May 25, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Playa Vista.
“We are growing extremely fast, and we expect to more than double our employee base this year,” said Veena Chillar, WebVisible VP of Human Resources. “The job fair approach has been working well for us – it’s a great way for us to get know the applicants and for them to get a glimpse into our culture. We create a fun and supportive atmosphere, designed to build community and help people thrive in their careers. We’re excited to expand our presence into Los Angeles County and the heart of Playa Vista.”
For the Open House in April, WebVisible received more than 600 applications and had nearly 100 attend the event at the company’s Irvine corporate headquarters.
