The City of Culver City is pleased to announce the launch of Expedited Solar and Energy Storage System (ESS) Permits, made possible through a new partnership with Symbium. This streamlined, online process allows eligible projects to receive instant permit approval—saving time and reducing barriers to clean energy adoption.
Who qualifies for instant permits? Instant residential solar and/or battery storage permits are available for projects completed by contractors holding an A, B, C-10, or C-46 license. Contractors and homeowners applying under Senate Bill (SB) 379 may use the Symbium portal for instantaneous plan review and approval.
