In partnership with the Culver City Historical Society, the Culver City Foshay Lodge No. 467 will present a community history program as part of the Historical Society’s January membership meeting and program.
Culver City has long had an active social system of service clubs; the Elks, the Lions, Exchange and Rotary International have been a part of the culture for many decades. What about the Freemasons? Freemasonry is considered the oldest existing secular fraternal organization, with documents and traditions dating back to the 14th century. They trace their origins to medieval guilds of stonemasons.
