As part of the new strategic framework for the Culver-Palms Family YMCA as a Center for Community Well-Being, there are now scheduled days called “LA Y Day of Service.”
While there are specific themes, as long as there is a focus to dedicate the day to serving the community, the possibilities are endless.
Join the Culver-Palms Family YMCA at the Westside Food Bank to assist them with unpacking and packing their dry goods. The WSFB have been generous supporters in our food distributions and emergency response efforts such as our Fire Relief and Community Response. Consider donating your time by giving back to them by signing up and coming on October 4th, 2025 from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
This site offers two-hour street parking ,but please plan to arrive early as we would need to sign their liability waiver and a photo release form. Please be mindful we will be handling some heavy products, therefore wear closed-toe shoes (No Uggs, Crocs, or the like). Please refrain from bringing valuables that need to be stored during the duration of your volunteer shift.
The location is at 1710 22nd St in Santa Monica.
