Keep Showing Up/ No Kings Rally @ City Hall on Oct. 18

The protest rally at Culver City’s City Hall on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, from 11 am to 12:30 pm will be one of thousands happening across the country. While it is run by a separate organization, “Keep Showing Up” will be a part of “No Kings” events that are planned throughout the nation.

With so many other events happening at the same time, some thoughtful strategy is called for. The forecast is for sunny weather and high temps – sunscreen, water and hats. The event will likely be crowded, and public transportation is a great choice.  Parking under City Hall will not be available.

Traffic through downtown Culver City may be routed over to Venice Boulevard. Some past rallies have overflowed into the streets, and Culver has been shut down from Madison up to Irving.

Many are planning to attend the “No Kings” rally in downtown Los Angeles via the Metro – that event is scheduled to begin at 2 pm and end at 5 pm, at 200 N. Spring Street. The Culver City Circulator (Line 1C1) runs between Vets Park and the Arts District, and it’s ideal to navigate the events.

The Art, Walk and Roll Festival will be taking place in Culver City’s Arts District, more than a mile away away from City Hall, so there is no conflict between the rally and the festival.

The organization heading the “Keep Showing Up” rally at Culver City City Hall is indivisible.org/; the organization hosting the downtown Los Angeles “No Kings” rally is www.fiftyfifty.one/ You can access either of these organizations for more information.
