USVAA to Offer New Works Celebrating Veterans in the Arts and Humanities Day

United States Veteran Artists Alliance is excited to announce that Judd Nelson, Monique Edwards, Dendrie Taylor, Christopher Sweeney (USMC), Drea Garcia (USMC), Skip Pipo, Stephanie Maura Sanchez (USN), and many other extraordinary actors have joined the casts of New Works 2019. This event will be presented on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at West Los Angeles College.

New Works 2019 scenes, selected from our monthly Veteran Writers Workshops, were written by the following USVAA Colleagues:

Cinthya Hernandez, US Army
Peter Cook, USMC
Dave Lara, US Navy
Jack Kennedy, US Army
Justin Denino, USMC

In addition to our New Works 2019 presentation, USVAA is proud to announce that California State Assemblymember Sydney-Kamlager Dove (CA-54) will honor USVAA, our colleagues and all veterans with permanent, annual State of California recognition of November 1st as Veterans in the Arts and Humanities Day.

In addition to the honors from the state of California, USVAA is honored to announce the presentation will open with a warm welcome and remarks by West Los Angeles College President, Dr. James Limbaugh.

Doors open at 3:45 pm with a reception following the program from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

This event is open to the public and all veterans attend free of charge.
