Bike commuters will be taking a different route on the week of Monday, September 23 to Friday, September 27, between 8 am and 4 pm. The Ballona Creek Bike Path will be closed for routine maintenance taking place between National Boulevard and Overland Avenue. The path will reopen on Friday, September 27.
Over the five-day maintenance period, the City of Culver City’s Public Works Department will repair pavement, clear vegetation, remove graffiti and repair fencing along the bike path. Construction vehicles and equipment will block the path at varying points, greatly limiting traveler access. Therefore, the City advises the community to take alternative routes, including:
Accessing Overland Avenue from Jefferson Boulevard, Culver Boulevard, Farragut Avenue or Braddock Drive Culver City’s other bike paths
