The Culver-Palms Y is starting a new Small Group Training Class in June called Recover. To get the most out of your workout, you need to do more to repair muscle tissue than simply let your body rest.
Recover employs multiple rehabilitation techniques like deep tissue work, massage machines, foam rolling, kinesiology taping, static stretching, focused breathing, meditation and more. Combined with strength training, recover methods repair muscle tissue and joints for more significant gains in strength while lowering the risks of injury and overuse.
Classes will meet Sundays, 9:15–9:45am, and Tuesdays, 8:30–9pm. Class size is limited, no fewer than three and no more than six participants.
