The next meeting of the Heart of LA Democratic Club will be Wednesday, April 3 from 7 to 9 pm at The Peace Center with
special guest speaker Mike Young (pictured center) of the California League of Conservation Voters.
Young is the Political & Organizing Director of the California League of Conservation Voters, and he has worked for the organization since 2005. Mike currently serves on a number of boards of progressive organizations including Black Women for Wellness Action Project, LA Forward, and the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Pepperdine University and has an undergraduate certification in Dispute Resolution.
