Dems – Remember to Vote on Sunday for Delegates

Culver City Middle School is the location on Sunday for the Democratic Delegate elections for Assembly District 54. From 2 to 4:45, there will be registration, speeches and the vote for representatives.

The Grassroots Progressives are running a slate of fourteen candidates, including Heart of LA co-founder Lindsey Carlson, who is also standing for Executive Board. Carlson’s statement for voters;

“As a Democratic activist, I bring a fresh grassroots perspective to the table. During the 2016 election,
I was a leader of a group of more than 3,500 volunteers for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Together with members of that group,
I formed the Heart of L.A. Democratic Club – the first L.A. County-wide chartered Democratic Club with the primary purpose of actively promoting the full and equal representation of women in local, state, and national politics through civic engagement, issue and policy advocacy, candidate endorsements, and campaign support. I currently serve as the club’s president. Heart of L.A. was one of the six founding sponsors of the amazingly successful Westside Democratic HQ in Westwood during the 2018 election cycle. Our young club was also an early supporter of Katie Hill’s campaign,  and integral to her victory in both the primary and general elections. I am also a member of the Stonewall Democratic Club,  West L.A. Democratic Club,  Culver City Democratic Club,  and the New Frontier Democratic Club.”

The school is located at 4601 Elenda St, Culver City 90230
