According to the CCPD, on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at about 4:00 pm, a group of four to five male subjects became involved in a confrontation near the intersection of Jefferson Blvd. and Machado Rd. At some point, all of the subjects ran into a nearby parking lot where one of the subjects was shot. The victim of the shooting, a male adult, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects were described as male blacks, between 18-25 years old, possibly wearing backpacks. One of the suspects, a male juvenile, was taken into custody at the scene and the remaining suspects are still outstanding.
Culver City Police Department Detectives are handling the investigation.
