The Culver City senior center was the place to be Sunday May 20, 2018 when the Culver City Senior Citizens Association and the Culver City Exchange Club co-sponsored the Ms. Culver City Elegance 2018 Show. This year’s show had seven contenders for the top title as well as a special award for Ms. Congeniality. There were invited performers and a raffle, but the main focus was who would win the top awards.
The elegant ladies were judged on formal attire, personality, modeling and a question from either Marilyn Kohler, Jeff Cooper, Albert Vera or Sharlene London, who were the distinguished judges for the event. When the drum rolled for the final announcement, Ms. Judie McAskill presented a plaque to Ms. Congeniality, Jo Flynn. The presentation of trophies to the top winners followed, where Nina Moskaluk took third place, followed by Irene Boscoe in second and the title of Ms Culver City Elegance went to Jo Flynn. A great time was had by all and we look forward to next year
