Women’s Club ‘Spring Fiesta’ Fundraiser @ Casa Sanchez Pours Funds for Local Beneficiaries

The Culver City Women’s Club is all about having a good time for a good cause, and their March 23rd fundraiser at Casa Sanchez was an ideal example. More than a hundred people turned out to drink margaritas and feast on Culver City’s best Mexican food while enjoying a fashion show and shopping. Our local Meals on Wheels, the Culver-Palms YMCA, the Culver City High School scholarship fund, and the USO at LAX will all be getting donations from the evening. Club President Barbara Rainier was at the door to welcome the guests, and the room filled up quickly with women, enthusing about the evening and the mission of the club.

Local patisserie Melissa Sanders of Essential Chocolate Desserts was there to sell some sweets to the crowd.  Having recently closed her retail location on Washington, she has goodies available for order online.

Carole Kanter of the Women’s Club offered. “From our perspective, it was a very successful event.”
