Due to the Trail and Stormwater Improvement Project, from May 1, 2018-April 1, 2020, sections of the trails and stairs will be closed for construction and restoration work.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the stairs and trails at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, California State Parks is embarking on much needed restoration of the park. This $1.1 million project is focused towards enhancing the public benefit and protecting it for your enjoyment. However, during construction and restoration, sections of the stairs and trails will be closed Detour routes will be marked so the public can continue to use and enjoy the park.
