Get Ready for December @ Julian Dixon Culver City Library

It’s going to be a very busy, very fun December at the Julian Dixon Culver City Library! Please join us for the following events:

On Saturday, December 2nd from 11am – 3pm we will be having a huge DVD sale. Thousands of gently used DVDs from countless genres will be available for sale at BARGAIN prices. This will be a great way to stock up on presents for the holiday season and also to stock up your own personal movie library. Cash or check only, please bring your own bags, all sales final.

On Friday, December 1st from 3pm – 6pm there will be a special opportunity for active members of the Friends to shop at a preview sale. We will be checking memberships at the door and only active members will be allowed inside the preview sale. New membership sign ups and renewal of lapsed memberships will be accepted at the sale. Cash or check only, please bring your own bags, all sales final.

On Tuesday, December 5th at 7pm we are very happy to present Storytime with Farragut Elementary School Principal Rebecca Ngo. Please join us while Principal Ngo reads her favorite story time books. There will be fun snowman arts and crafts as well. Admission is free. Please see the attached poster for additional details.

On Saturday, December 9th we will be having our annual Snowless Snow Party! Join us from 2pm – 3:30pm, there will be free arts and crafts and loads of fun to be had. You can even make your own Tubesock Snowman and “Snowman Soup”! Additional details can be found at www.ccfol.org.

And, finally, did someone say… Pop Up? Yes! We will be having Pop Up Book Sales during both the Storytime and the Snowless Snow Party! A fine selection of gently used Childrens books will be available for purchase at these events. Please bring your own bags, cash or check only.
