Dear Editor – Mayor Cooper Stands Against Charlottesville Nazis

Light-bulb-0003-300x198I am profoundly sad and angry due to the events in Charlottesville this past weekend. I am thankful to live in a city that has no tolerance for the racist behavior exhibited by white supremacists and their nationalistic movement. I will always speak out against racism, be it in another state, another country or within the confines of our city. All of us stand united with Mayor Signer of Charlottesville, as this is a reminder that, as far as we have come to stamp out this behavior, we have a long way to go. I urge all to continue the fight to end racist behavior and the violence which it brings.

Jeffrey Cooper, Mayor, City of Culver City
