SCE to Begin CC Downtown Upgrade – Check in Here for Dates on Planned Outages

downtown-culver-city-web-optimized_originalSouthern California Edison will begin a project this month to upgrade its electrical infrastructure in the Downtown Culver City area.

Excavation work for two new electrical vaults will begin on Saturday, June 17. The location of the vaults are 1) Culver Boulevard between Canfield Avenue and Main Street (at the driveway for the alley running between CAVA and Kay n Daves) and 2) Culver Boulevard between Main Street and Cardiff Avenue (in front of Bank of America). Trenching will begin on Monday, June 26, starting on Washington Boulevard near Trader Joe’s, heading north to Culver Boulevard, then west along Culver Boulevard in the following days. No outages are expected prior to early July.

Please visit www.culvercity.org/electricalupgrade to stay informed about the project. Here you will find a project description, maps of impacted areas, contact information, and timely updates. Future project updates will be posted by the City to this webpage on an ongoing basis in order to keep the community informed.
