At the May 30, 2017 regular City Council meeting, the City Council will consider a contract award to John Kaliski Architects to conduct studies and prepare recommendations for R-1 neighborhood development standards to address the communities’ mansionization concerns, as well as hillside grading design standards.
With many neighborhoods under pressure from changing standards, soaring real estate values and shifting architectural styles, more than one city council meeting had run late into the evening as discussion intensified. Those who feel concerned about how these matters progress legally should attend. The meeting will be May 27, at City Hall, at 7 pm.
