Senator Holly Mitchell Cheers When “Kids Are 1st”

unnamedState Senator Holly Mitchell thinks that partnering with Kids Are 1st to present the Family Safety and Health Festival in Exposition Park is one of the highlights of her job. The festival provided resources, exhibits, services and training demonstrations free of charge to help families protect children from hazards and health problems. West L.A. College and UCLA Medical Center were also in attendance and offered each youth free health and dental screenings.

Mitchell was pleased to note “It was an honor to greet families and thank the organizations for their donated services, including California Highway Patrol officers and staffers of local non-profits.”
