CycleBar Indoor Cycling to Open in Culver City Today – Free Rides

unnamedCycleBar, a new concept in indoor cycling that offers a high energy workout in a rock concert-like atmosphere, will celebrate the opening of its first Los Angeles-based studio in Culver City, located at 4130 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City, CA 90230, between Sage Bistro and Holy Cow.

The grand opening runs from March 13 – April 2, offering 3 weeks of free rides for businesses and the general public. From March 13-22, businesses and organizations are invited to book a private ride for employees, clients and friends. Beginning on March 23rd any and all riders can experience unlimited CycleBar classes for free. To sign up for information, including how to ride for free, visit http://culvercity.cyclebar.com. The full, paid ride schedule begins on April 3.

CycleBar offers pay-per-class, discounted pre-paid packages, and a monthly, unlimited option, all with no membership necessary. Easy online booking allows guests to purchase class packages and reserve a specific bike up to a week in advance. Concierge service and amenities include free towels, showers, lockers, and cycling shoes.

The dynamic classes take place in a state-of-the-art CycleTheatre® and are led by CycleStar® instructors who take participants through a 50-minute high-energy ride. The CycleTheatre features tiers for 48 bikes plus LED lighting, wide-screen TVs and state-of-the-art audio with a DJ booth. Riders can track performance data via CycleStats®, including class rank and calories burned, which is emailed immediately after class. The playlist used in the class session is also available for download via Spotify.

After class, riders cool down with fresh fruit and enhanced water, while aromatherapy helps guests relax throughout the facility. There will also be regular theme rides such as Monday Mashup, Wine Down Wednesdays, and Sunday Brunch Rides at which community partners will provide free offerings after class.

At the heart of this independent franchise is the owner, triathlete Steph Sklar-Mulcahy, whose passion for fitness is second only to her passion for philanthropy. As an integral part of CycleBar’s mission is CycleGiving®, a philanthropic movement which partners with local organizations and charities to help them raise money. CycleBar will work with organizations to create custom rides with up to 100% of the proceeds going right back to support the cause or group (minus a small studio admin fee). A CycleBar ride isn’t a typical fundraiser; groups can raise money quickly without the upfront costs of a standard benefit event, while also building community and giving something back to the riders who participate.

CycleBar unites riders of all ages and fitness levels by creating an unparalleled multisensory, intoxicating journey. Led by engaging, high-energy CycleStars and fueled by incredible music playlists in our state-of-the-art CycleTheatre, CycleBar delivers far beyond a great cardio fitness workout. Our studios and staff are entirely dedicated to creating a fun, dynamic and effective indoor cycling experience for you.
