A couple of weeks ago, we came together in great numbers and with great passion to talk about how we can Organize to Resist here in California. One topic that came up over and over again was shifting the House of Representatives from red to blue so that Congress has more power to resist the Trump Administration’s agenda and fight for our shared Democratic values. Our first opportunity to work towards that goal is coming up!
Sea Change PAC will be taking a bus trip to Santa Clarita to work with Democrats who are organizing in the 25th Congressional District, a seat currently held by a Trump-supporting Republican who wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act; has called Social Security a “bad idea;” and votes against the interests of women, LGBTQ Californians, and immigrants. We’ll be doing grassroots outreach, knocking on doors and providing voters with important information about how Trump’s agenda is affecting them. Will you sign up to help out?

Change is possible, but it’s going to take all of us reaching out to our neighbors, knocking on their doors, and explaining to them why and how their votes matter. The need for change hasn’t been more urgent in decades, and the time to start is now.
