Celebrate theatre arts in CCUSD at a free Front & Center Theatre Collaborative Extravaganza for all ages! This is your chance to experience the innovative and inspiring theatre programs our students have been enjoying.
There will be performances from all of Front & Center’s arts partners (We Tell Stories, Story Pirates, Young Storytellers, 24th Street Theatre, The Actors’ Gang and Center Theatre Group) and CCUSD students from 7:00 pm until 8:30. From 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm there will be theatre games, improv, a visual arts project and writing activities like the ones our kids have been enjoying, but on this night everyone of any age can participate. There will be an art installation proclaiming visions for CCUSD arts education in bold colors. And, to make it deliciously easy for people to join the fun, there will be food trucks where you can purchase dinner from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
So join the celebration on Friday, February 10th at the Veterans Memorial Complex. Performances will run from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
