Exchange Club to be Honored at Sandy Segal Fundraiser

Youth-HealthThe Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center are “Sailing into the Future” at their annual fundraiser on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at a private venue in Marina Del Rey. For information on the location please contact Sarah Carpenter at 310-837-3734. This year the group is proud to honor the Exchange Club of Culver City for its decades of support for the Health Center. The Club has been one of the Health Center’s greatest contributors since it began in 1990, and continues to make it possible to meet the goals of maintaining and improving the health of Culver City students. The Exchange Club of Culver City is well known in the community for its donations to many other nonprofit organizations and activities such as the Culver-Palms YMCA, scholarships for graduating Culver High seniors, the Exchange Club Family Support Center, and numerous others.
The event begins 5:30 p.m. with appetizers, silent auction, no host bar, and music by Ronnie Jayne. Dinner follows with music, a program, and a live auction. The cost is $100 per person prior to February 14, or $110 at the door. All proceeds go to the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center located on the campus of Culver City Middle and High School.
The Health Center is operated by the Venice Family Clinic and provides free quality health care for Culver City students. A variety of services are offered including physicals, immunizations, vision and hearing tests, care for ongoing illnesses and conditions, prescription medications, and mental health counseling provided by the Los Angeles Child Development Center.
